Lukas Zerbst – Motten

Das Werk wird Teil einer Schaufenster-Ausstellung in unserem Festivalzentrum sein.

In his artistic work, Lukas Zerbst deals with the social imperatives of architecture and interior. With site-specific installations and room interventions, he decouples spatial conditions from their rigidity – they are an invitation to think differently about space, to expose possible guidance systems that dictate how we move in public and semi-public space. So it’s not just rooms that are in motion, the guests themselves become co-performers in Zerbst’s work. As part of the festival, a 2-channel video installation and two room interventions will be shown in the festival center, which are created on site and are related to the former shop – as a device that has perfected it to mislead its guests want, through product placement in shop window displays and its inviting architecture. How much apparatus do we have when we move around in such spaces?
The work will be part of a shop window exhibition in our festival center.center.
