Still Standing ist eine aktuelle Bestandsaufnahme zwischen Alltäglichkeit und Großereignissen, Absurdität und Ernsthaftigkeit, Projektion und Live-Performance, Erzählung und Wiederholung, Stillstand und Action. Hier und Jetzt. Für das Zeitzeug_Festival überführt das Künstlerinnen-Duo das filmische Archiv in ein Bühnen-Format mit intensiver Wirkung. Das Stehen im Film, das Stehen auf der Bühne fokussiert den Blick auf kleinste Unterschiede, kaum wahrnehmbare Regungen und Perspektivwechsel mit Überraschungen. Das „für etwas Einstehen“, „einen Standpunkt haben“ oder „mit beiden

Not moving. They occupy with both feet a little bit of earth and let (it) happen.
With a film camera Locu&Ruth systematically document their locations. Permanently and short dated. Locals join to form a scene with uncertain outcome.
Still Standing is a current evaluation of situations between everyday life and big events,
absurdity and seriousness, projection and live performance, narrative and repetition ,
Standstill and action. Here and now. For the Zeitzeug_Festival the
artists duo transforms the filmic archive into a stage format with an intense effect. The standing in the film, the standing on stage focuses the view on the smallest differences, hardly noticeable movements and changes of perspectives with surprises.
